The Korannaberg Conservancy stretches across approximately 16,000 hectares between Marquard, Clocolan and Excelsior. It offers spectacular mountain scenery together with bird and game viewing, hiking, walking, mountain biking and 4x4 routes. Nearby Belvedere Nature Reserve adds angling, canoeing and boating to the mix.
Marquard is also known for the Korannaberg Mountain Bike Race, where riders tackle technical sandstone terrain around the mountain.
